Sooriya Resort & Spa prioritises conservation and sustainability through many initiatives, including solar energy use, environmental protection, and wildlife preservation.

We harness solar energy ('Sooriya' energy) for hot water generation and harvest rainwater for our gardens. Our effluent treatment plant recycles water for plant growth and nourishes our vegetable garden.
We support the local rural economy by purchasing produce from villagers at fair prices. Additionally, we prioritise line-caught fish from local fishermen for sustainability.

Our commitment extends to reducing light pollution, providing a tranquil view of the night sky, and being a responsible organisation supporting and protecting the local ecosystem conservation.
